Check a final exit visa without your own Absher account
Many people search for a final exit visa check without Absher because they never set up a personal account, or their login has locked. There are two practical routes, depending on what you can access.
- Ask your sponsor: the employer or head of household who requested the visa can see it on Muqeem in minutes, since they hold the account that issued it.
- Register your own Absher account: this takes a few minutes with your iqama number and a Saudi mobile number, and gives you a personal record for every future visa, not just this one.

How long is a final exit visa valid for?
A Saudi final exit visa runs for up to 60 days from the date it is issued, but it can never outlast your iqama. The Jawazat tightened this link in a rule announced in January 2025: your iqama must have at least 30 days of validity left before the visa can be issued at all.

What if your final exit visa expires unused?
The residency does not disappear automatically, but the record does not simply reset either. Jawazat rules commonly carry a fine before an unused, expired final exit visa can be cancelled, and your employer can only cancel it once that fine is settled and your iqama is still active.
In practice that means an expired final exit visa creates paperwork neither side wants: a fine to pay, a cancellation to process, and a delay before a fresh exit visa can be requested. If your plans change and you will not travel on the visa, ask your employer to cancel it before the expiry date, not after.
Can you re-enter Saudi Arabia after a final exit visa?
Not on the visa you just used. The moment you exit on a final exit visa, your iqama is cancelled, so coming back means starting over: a new sponsor, a new visa application, and the same process any first-time worker or resident follows.
This is different from an exit re-entry visa, which is designed for a return trip on the same iqama.
